Old Business
BBQ Wrap up - We needed a raffle item to raise more money. Did not have one this year. Traci motioned to take ½ profits and leave in WMA and take other ½ and divide between MYNK and Barnabas Connection. Mary seconded the motion, majority vote.
Mustang Car Show – Tammy will send out flyer so everyone can print out and distribute. Mustang club is advertising on all of their usual websites. Merchants need to block parking off that morning. The Mustang Club is meeting in San Marcos at Academy and will drive over together. Shuttles will run this day. David will contact Don Ferguson to see if he suggests any off duty police officers to help with traffic and parking of vehicles. David will let everyone know when they leave San Marcos and a car count. We have spaces available for about 70 cars. It would be good to have a few musicians around town.
We need to get out more and better advertising for Third Thursday Wimberley. Some ideas are to re-do rack cards, sticker for paper, banners (check with city) and WMA poster. Possibly we could do a raffle where customers can only sign up between 5&8 and have a monthly winner. Bren made a motion to advertise/revise rack cards, Maridel made a motion to budget $500.00 towards music and Bob seconded.
The Shuttles need magnetic signs to indicate they are a free shuttle to downtown. Maridel will check with Kinkos and try to get the signs made.
Website/Newsletter – We are not sure who may be able to do this for us, but Sherri Cline is interested. We should put her on agenda to come to a meeting and give us a pitch.
Update on flags – Mary had a quote from Eagle Flags previously for $26.90 per flag. She will get proposals and bring to next meeting. This will include picture and the cost.
Adjournment –
Jeanne Ann made a motion to adjourn and Jacque seconded. We adjourned at 7:45.
Respectfully submitted,
Tammy Steen, Recording Secretary
